Senior Software Engineer II

Position Overview

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the product architecture roadmap and end-to-end product release delivery.
• Communicate with stakeholders during product delivery.
• Build software products in collaborative, agile R&D teams.
• Enable continuous improvement in technology and processes.
• Improve engineering practices and product quality.
• Support product team governance for quality and solution efficiency.
• Build automated processes wherever possible.
• Mentor team members and reinforce organizational values and culture.
• Help define development, test, release, update, and support processes for engineering operations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bring 6-8+ years of IT experience in solution design and development.
• Hold a Computer Science or related engineering degree, or have equivalent additional professional experience.
• Deliver Java and open-source technology solutions as an engineer in global organizations.
• Implement REST services.
• Have hands-on experience with Java 8+, Spring, Spring Batch, microservices, Redis, Angular, and cloud computing.
• Have experience with MongoDB or PostgreSQL.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Git, GitLab, Jenkins, scripting, Python, Terraform, Ansible, AWS SDK CLI, and CodeDeploy is desirable.
• Strong data structures and algorithms skills and exposure to digital transformation are preferred.
• Experience with enterprise-grade components, agile environments, and DevOps CI/CD is preferred.
• Understanding of low-code or no-code platforms is desirable.
• Banking or finance domain experience is a plus.
• Be a self-starter able to work with minimal guidance.
