Senior Software Engineer I, Frontend

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Design responsive, high-performance user-centric graphics and reusable component-based frontend applications.
• Translate UX and Figma designs into pixel-accurate production implementations.
• Integrate graphics with REST and/or GraphQL APIs, including handling data flows, errors, and edge cases.
• Apply secure coding practices and use build systems for bundling, code splitting, linting, and optimization.
• Maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and CI/CD quality gates.
• Analyze rendering, runtime, network, and application performance.
• Collaborate across backend, design, product, and distributed teams; participate in planning, technical discussions, and root-cause analysis.

Technical requirements

• 6–10 years of hands-on experience building production-grade graphics for web and/or mobile applications.
• Deep React expertise and strong TypeScript proficiency, with Node.js experience in frontend-centric architectures.
• Experience translating Figma designs into robust, maintainable, pixel-accurate implementations.
• Strong understanding of browser internals, rendering pipeline, event loop, HTTP, and WebSockets.
• Experience with REST and/or GraphQL APIs, schema-driven development, data validation, and error handling.
• Experience with Vite and/or Webpack; familiarity with Rollup and experience with SonarQube.
• Hands-on experience with Testing Library, Jest, Vitest, Cypress, Git, CI/CD, and micro-frontend architectures.
• Experience in Agile environments and general awareness of DevOps principles.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills; effective communication and collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Good judgment, time management, independent follow-through, teamwork, and a pragmatic approach to delivery.
• Preferred: a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Preferred: scalable cloud frontend architecture, microservices, Building Management Systems, or configuration-heavy/dashboard platforms.
