Senior Software Engineer

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full product development life cycle for structured finance applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain desktop, UI, and console components using C#/.NET and Azure or AWS.
• Architect and operate serverless applications and ETL pipelines on Azure or AWS.
• Develop reusable pipeline patterns, frameworks, and templates.
• Own significant components from technical design through production support.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions with stakeholders.
• Contribute to CI/CD and DevOps improvements.
• Maintain documentation for system designs, data workflows, and APIs.

Skills and Competencies

• 6 or more years of production backend service development using C# and .NET Core.
• Strong asynchronous programming, dependency injection, and clean or layered architecture skills.
• Experience with WPF and MVVM, including Prism or a similar framework.
• 1 to 2 years of experience working with Amazon Redshift.
• Strong SQL and NoSQL database knowledge and secure coding expertise.
• Experience with Azure serverless and microservices workloads and queue-driven systems.
• Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, and system design.

Education

• Bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with real-time WPF development, IVY C# for data extraction, structured finance, or AI-assisted development tools is valued.
