Role overview

Leads large-scale lending technology implementation projects for Moody’s clients across the Middle East, with a particular focus on Saudi Arabia.

The role is based in Moody’s Riyadh office; the successful candidate will initially onboard at the Middle East headquarters in Dubai before relocating to Riyadh.

The Middle East Lending Implementation Services team plans and delivers projects, supports adoption of Moody’s Lending solutions, and improves delivery methodologies.

Skills and competencies

  • At least 8 years of relevant project management experience in leading financial software vendors or IT departments of leading financial institutions in Saudi Arabia.
  • Proven delivery experience of SaaS or hosted software solutions.
  • Strong understanding of the project lifecycle, methodologies such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile, and tools such as MS Project.
  • Fluent English is required; Arabic is a plus.
  • Client-focused, results-oriented, and able to lead and motivate project teams.
  • Hands-on delivery of Generative or Agentic AI solutions to streamline project delivery and improve operational efficiency.
  • Able to apply AI-powered tools to client and project challenges; awareness of AI risk and commitment to responsible, ethical AI use.
  • Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Moody’s Commercial Lending solution or CreditLens experience and lending risk, Basel regulation, or asset liability management experience are highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of large-scale lending technology implementation projects and manage priorities across an assigned project portfolio.
  • Manage team deliverables and project responsibilities throughout the project lifecycle; coordinate, prioritize, and communicate project efforts.
  • Build client and stakeholder relationships; manage issues, risks, scope, and change processes.
  • Coordinate consultants and resources while maintaining a cooperative, motivated project team.
  • Advise project managers on project practices, team dynamics, team building, and motivation.
  • Recommend and develop improvements to project methodologies, processes, and documentation.
  • Ensure PMO governance compliance and liaise with Product Management, Engineering, and Client Services.
  • Report progress to clients, senior internal stakeholders, and delivery teams; provide client services and proactive solution and product support.
  • Engage with clients on-site and off-site; support pre-sales activities when requested.

About the team

The team is part of Moody’s Banking Customer Engagement organization and delivers lending technology projects for clients across the Middle East, particularly Saudi Arabia.

The team incorporates Generative and Agentic AI into project delivery while maintaining governance and responsible AI practices.
