Senior Software Engineer - FullStack

Role purpose

Software development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications, backend services, responsive Angular interfaces, REST APIs, microservices, and reusable components.
• Use Node.js/TypeScript or Python for backend development; write maintainable, tested code and participate in code reviews.
• Translate business and technical requirements into software solutions and follow coding and architecture standards.

Cloud, data, and industrial integration

• Develop and deploy applications on GCP and work with cloud-native and event-driven services, including Pub/Sub, BigQuery, and Dataflow.
• Build applications for high-volume real-time industrial and telemetry data, and support API, messaging, industrial-platform, and enterprise integrations.
• Develop Industrial IoT and Industry 4.0 solutions involving telemetry ingestion, industrial gateways, time-series data, SCADA, and historians.
• Work with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, and event technologies such as MQTT, Pub/Sub, or Kafka.

DevOps and production support

• Coordinate with DevOps teams on CI/CD, deployment, and release management; use Git and modern software practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and support performance, availability, security, and reliability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of applications and platform services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on Angular experience and strong hands-on experience with either Node.js and TypeScript or Python.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and microservices; good knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong SQL and database fundamentals; PostgreSQL is preferred.
• Experience with Git and Agile/Scrum; understanding of software design principles, design patterns, and clean coding practices.
• Experience developing and supporting production applications.

Preferred technical skills

• GCP and services such as Pub/Sub, BigQuery, and Dataflow; Docker and Kubernetes.
• MQTT, Kafka, or event-driven architecture; time-series databases such as TimescaleDB.
• Industrial IoT, telemetry, or real-time data platforms; CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.
