Senior Software Engineer (Frontend–React)

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Build scalable, responsive, high-performance web applications and translate UI/UX designs into interactive frontend experiences.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver features end to end.
• Improve performance, accessibility, and usability across devices and browsers; write reusable, maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and deployment; contribute to improvements in user experience, processes, and product quality.
• Stay current with frontend technologies, AI trends, and industry best practices.

Candidate requirements

• 5–8 years of frontend development experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, communication and collaboration abilities, attention to detail, ownership, and accountability.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage priorities, and deliver within deadlines.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn emerging technologies, especially AI-driven applications.

Technical knowledge

• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript; hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React.
• Deep understanding of React hooks, Context API, component lifecycle, state management, routing, and reusable component architecture.
• Experience with responsive and mobile-first development; familiarity with REST APIs and asynchronous programming.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
• Unit and automation testing using Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or another library; integrated with CI/CD for continuous quality assurance.
• Experience with AI-powered developer tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar assistants.
• Experience with build tools and package managers such as Webpack, Vite, npm, or Yarn; understanding of Redux or Zustand.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and debugging tools; basic understanding of web performance optimization and accessibility standards.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum practices is a plus.
