Senior Software Engineer, Enterprise Applications
Role Overview
Support development of enterprise systems required for the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations.

The company is headquartered in Long Beach, California, and is developing Haven station modules and related crewed systems.
Role overview
Support development of enterprise systems required for the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations.
Work as part of a growing software team under the mentorship of experienced aerospace and technology engineers.
This is a full-time, exempt position located in Long Beach.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement web applications using modern frontends, application servers, APIs, and microservices.
- Design and implement backends including data modeling, APIs, and supporting pipelines.
- Rapidly iterate on tooling and design new applications as the company grows.
- Adopt scalable software practices and patterns for a large codebase and team.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, an engineering discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 6 years of software development or relevant industry experience.
- Experience building, shipping, and supporting complex, data-intensive full-stack software applications.
Preferred skills and experience
- Experience working on ambiguous problems and with multiple programming languages.
- Experience with API design.
- Experience with one or more of React, Vue, GraphQL, Node.js, OAuth, Terraform, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
Compensation
- The California salary range is $135,000 to $267,000 USD yearly.
- The listed ranges include Software Engineer Level II, Senior Software Engineer, and Staff Software Engineer levels.
- Level and compensation are calibrated to the selected candidate's experience and demonstrated capability.
Export control requirement
- The hired employee must be a U.S. person or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing because the role involves controlled information and items.
