Senior Software Engineer – Data Cloud & Marketing Technology

Role overview

Work arrangement

• The posting identifies the role as hybrid and based in Toronto.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the BAU-to-LTC Data Cloud migration, including Data Streams, DMO schemas, Identity Resolution, and Activation Targets.
• Implement Pardot/MCAE in the LTC organization, including engagement programs, lead scoring, dynamic lists, forms, landing pages, and synchronization.
• Design and deploy Agentforce agents for B2B marketing and sales use cases.
• Build integrations across Salesforce, Data Cloud, Pardot, Qualtrics, 6sense, Openprise, AEM, and other marketing systems.
• Implement CASL, GDPR, and CAN-SPAM consent, privacy, suppression, opt-out, and compliance reporting architecture.
• Troubleshoot data quality, synchronization, integration, and deployment issues across BAU and LTC environments.

Required qualifications

• At least 6 years of enterprise software engineering experience, including at least 4 years of Salesforce Data Cloud or CDP platform engineering.
• Expert hands-on Salesforce Data Cloud experience across schemas, identity resolution, profiles, insights, segmentation, data actions, and activation targets.
• Salesforce development experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flows.
• Hands-on Pardot/MCAE experience across engagement, scoring, automation, forms, and connector synchronization.
• Agentforce experience with Agent Builder, Prompt Builder, Topics and Actions, Atlas Reasoning Engine, and Einstein Trust Layer.
• Experience with Salesforce org migration or platform consolidation programs.
• Ability to work autonomously, own ambiguous problems, and communicate technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Salesforce Certified Data Cloud Consultant and Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II certifications are required.

Preferred qualifications

• Salesforce CI/CD experience with SFDX, Git-based pipelines, Copado, or Gearset is preferred.
• Experience with consent and privacy architecture is preferred.
• Experience with Openprise, 6sense, Qualtrics, or AEM integrations is preferred.
• Familiarity with CRM Analytics or Datorama is preferred.
• Pardot, Agentforce Specialist, AI Associate, or Sales Cloud Consultant certifications are preferred.

Compensation

• The targeted base pay range for the Toronto office is 131,000 to 181,000 CAD annually.
• The range excludes bonus, equity, and benefits.
