The Senior Software Engineer joins the Product Associations and Recommendations team.

Compensation
- The anticipated annual base pay range is $112,900 to $188,100.
- The role is eligible for an incentive target of up to 10 percent based on individual and company performance.
Responsibilities
- Build scalable and maintainable applications with engineers, architects, and analysts.
- Develop backend-focused full-stack solutions, services, and APIs.
- Implement continuous delivery and engineering best practices.
- Coach and mentor junior engineers.
- Design, build, and maintain Kotlin and Java services and APIs for recommendations and product associations.
- Partner with engineering, product, machine learning, and frontend teams.
- Lead projects from design and discovery through implementation and delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Experience building and deploying scalable distributed systems.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin or Java and backend services and APIs using modern frameworks such as Spring Boot.
- Experience across design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of professional software application development experience.
- Familiarity with Node.js, TypeScript, and DevOps practices.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools throughout the software engineering lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with recommendation engines, product associations, data publishing platforms, or ecommerce applications.
- Experience with AWS and containerized applications.
- Experience with SQL, Snowflake, Databricks, GitHub Actions, React, Python, or PySpark.
