- A pharmacy SaaS portal with click & collect functionality
Signature Pharmacy
is our online pharmacy platform, powered by a custom-built e-commerce system that processes over 10,000 orders monthly.
We are scaling rapidly and looking for an experienced backend-focused engineer to help shape the future of our infrastructure and products.
The Role
- We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) with 4+ years of experience who is passionate about building scalable systems and solving complex technical challenges.
- You will play a key role in:
- Refactoring and improving backend architecture
- Designing scalable, secure, and high-performance systems
- Leading technical projects and mentoring developers
- Building APIs, services, and integrations across our platforms
- Using AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity
- Collaborating closely with frontend, product, and operations teams
- Delivering reliable software used by thousands of users every month
- What we're looking for
- 4+ years of commercial software engineering experience
- Strong backend development experience (Node.js, Typescript, PHP (preferred)
- Experience building scalable APIs and distributed systems
- Strong understanding of databases, system design, and cloud infrastructure
- Experience refactoring legacy systems and improving performance
- Team player with leadership and communication skills
- Passion for clean code, scalability, and product quality
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
- Interest in AI tooling and modern engineering workflows
- Open to relocating to the UAE
- Nice to have:
- Experience in healthcare, SaaS, or e-commerce platforms
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud platforms
- Startup or high-growth company experience
