Senior Software Engineer - Back-End & Agentic AI

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Implement product requirements with team members, product owners, and designers.
• Review code, maintain engineering standards, and mentor software developers.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into technical specifications and develop high-quality code.
• Monitor cybersecurity technology trends and contribute technical documentation.
• Integrate AI capabilities into products and guide engineers on AI tools and evaluation.

Required qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Hands-on PHP (Laravel) and/or Python experience and object-oriented programming knowledge.
• Experience with SQL databases, front-end technologies, Git, CI/CD, message queues, APIs, testing frameworks, microservices, and containers.
• Experience with AWS and Terraform; familiarity with RKE2 is a plus.
• Experience using AI developer tools and integrating AI agents or intelligent services.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Preferred experience

• Multi-environment Terraform/Helm deployments across AWS EKS and on-premises RKE2 are nice to have.
• SaaS scaling and event-driven or queue-based architecture experience are nice to have.
