Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the modernization of legacy technologies and features, incorporating AI-enabled capabilities and AI-driven detection into scalable systems.
  • Apply deep SIEM expertise and knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK techniques to guide security analytics, detection, and response capabilities.
  • Strong communication and influence, with a record of connecting technical direction to business impact.
  • Partner with Directors and Senior Directors to align architecture and engineering priorities with business and market needs.
  • Establish architectural standards and best practices in collaboration with other Principal engineers.
  • Mentor and develop Staff and Senior Staff Engineers, strengthening technical leadership across the organization.

Qualifications

  • 16+ years of engineering experience, including leadership of complex, large-scale systems.
  • Proven ability to shape enterprise architecture and technical strategy across teams or products.
  • Strong hands-on or architectural experience with Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, microservices, DataLake concepts and LLM models.
  • Experience with AI-driven development and AIDLC practices.
  • Experience designing and delivering cloud-based systems on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Expertise in security and SIEM platforms, with practical knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK techniques.
  • Experience modernizing legacy platforms and building scalable, AI-enabled systems and detection capabilities.
  • Experience improving delivery speed through streamlined engineering models, automated validation, and deployment.
