About the Role

Engineering Delivery

• Develop, test, and deploy scalable, secure, well-documented Go, NodeJS, or Python services.
• Maintain performance and reduce latency for global users.
• Design automated tests for new features and legacy services.
• Use CI/CD gates to enforce quality and reduce regression risk.

Collaboration and Reliability

• Partner with Product Management and UX to refine requirements and assess technical feasibility.
• Align engineering roadmaps with business value across multiple time zones.
• Define alerts and runbooks for reliable, zero-downtime deployments.
• Improve engineering processes with automated tools and AI-assisted development.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of industry programming experience delivering complex, scalable software products.
• Proficiency in Go, NodeJS, and/or Python, with willingness to learn VueJS for full-stack integration.
• Deep understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and IAM systems.
• Aptitude for Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and cloud technology concepts.
• Experience working in geographically distributed teams with asynchronous communication and written documentation.
• Strong organizational and technical leadership skills in cross-functional environments.

On-Call Schedule

• Engineers are expected to participate in assigned on-call shifts and respond when alerts require attention.

Language

• JumpCloud conducts internal business in English, and candidates must speak and write English fluently.
