Role overview

Join the OmniWMS Product & Technology team as a Senior Software Developer.

Deliver release features across a distributed, multi-component warehouse management platform used for mission-critical warehouse operations.

Work end to end across front end, back end, and database while helping keep warehouse operations stable as the platform evolves.

What you will do

  • Build and ship release features and enhancements across front end, back end, and database.
  • Work across legacy and modern stacks, including .NET/C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, MVC, and Entity Framework.
  • Improve architecture, maintainability, and testability; contribute to migration, framework upgrades, and refactoring.
  • Troubleshoot and debug end-to-end issues and optimize high-volume transactional workflows on SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
  • Develop responsive web and mobile interfaces using JavaScript, Vue, jQuery, Razor Views, and PWA components.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools, reviewing generated output with sound engineering judgment.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, product managers, and support teams; participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.

What you bring

  • 3–7 years of full-stack software development experience and strong programming and object-oriented design fundamentals.
  • Backend experience in .NET/C#, Java, or a similar enterprise stack, including REST APIs and ORM frameworks; prior .NET experience is a plus.
  • Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern front-end framework; Vue is preferred, while React or Angular experience is welcome if you can transition to Vue quickly.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL, including complex queries and performance troubleshooting.
  • Comfort with AI-assisted development tools and judgment to review their output.
  • Problem-solving, troubleshooting, debugging, learning, collaboration, and communication skills; able to work in an Agile environment across legacy and modern components.
  • Application modernization experience is a plus.
