About the Role
The Financial Operations Analyst will manage and optimize finances and operations for the Product and Technology department.
The role supports customer impact by contributing to technology-enabled supply chain solutions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze financial and operational performance data to identify trends and support strategic decisions.
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts for planning and budgeting.
- Improve financial and operational processes to drive efficiency and cost savings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on accurate and timely financial transaction recording.
- Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management.
- Conduct financial analysis for business development and investment decisions.
- Assist with financial policies, procedures, and controls.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience is required.
- At least one year of relevant experience as an information technology or finance professional managing IT is required.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, public cloud concepts, IT cost management, and cloud billing is required.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, analytical problem-solving, and strong written and verbal English are required.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud certification and FinOps, Cloud Financial Management, or Total Business Management certification are assets.
- Cloud experience and Power BI experience are assets.
