Senior Social Media Manager (Strategy & Partnerships)
About This Role
Role Overview:
We are not looking for a typical social media manager.
We are hiring someone who can own, structure, and elevate our entire social media presence across platforms — working with internal teams (content, design, video, marketing) to create a cohesive, high-performing system.
Important:
Candidates must have prior experience in investment, business acquisition, or high-value service industries.
Applications without relevant industry experience will not be considered.
Core Mission:
To manage and orchestrate all social media activities across Instagram, LinkedIn, and Snapchat — ensuring consistency, quality, and strategic direction while coordinating multiple teams and external collaborations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Social Media Strategy & Direction
- Define and execute the overall social media strategy
- Align content direction with business positioning
- Maintain consistency in tone, messaging, and brand identity
- Plan weekly and monthly content execution (not writing content yourself)
2. Content Orchestration (Not Creation)
- Work closely with content, design, and video teams
- Turn ideas into structured execution plans
- Review, refine, and approve all content before publishing
- Ensure content fits each platform (Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat)
3. Account Management & Growth
- Manage and oversee daily activity across all platforms
- Maintain high standards for posting, engagement, and consistency
- Monitor performance and continuously improve direction
- Ensure accounts remain active, relevant, and professional
4. Communication & Relationship Building
- Engage with relevant accounts, audiences, and communities
- Build relationships with key pages, professionals, and partners
- Manage comments and direct messages in a professional manner
- Represent the brand through clear and confident communication
5. Influencer & Partnership Management
- Identify and collaborate with relevant influencers and industry figures
- Plan and execute influencer campaigns
- Manage communication, expectations, and deliverables
- Ensure collaborations align with brand positioning and audience
6. Cross-Team Coordination
- Act as the central point between content, design, and marketing teams
- Ensure smooth workflow from idea to publishing
- Keep all teams aligned with strategy and execution timelines
What This Role Is NOT:
- Not a content creator
- Not a video editor or designer
- Not a paid ads manager
- Not a junior social media admin
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing social media in:
- Investment
- Business acquisition
- High-value service industries
- Strong understanding of:
- Snapchat
- Experience working with content, design, and video teams
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Experience with influencer marketing and partnerships
- Ability to manage multiple workflows and stakeholders
- High attention to detail and quality
Not Suitable If:
- You are mainly a content creator or editor
- You are focused only on posting and scheduling
- You do not have industry-relevant experience
- You cannot manage teams and workflows
Ideal Candidate:
- A high-level social media strategist who can execute
- Someone who can “bring everything together”
- Strong communicator and relationship builder
- Structured, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Comfortable taking ownership and responsibility
