Senior Site Architect

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the architectural design and construction activities on-site.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and as-built drawings.
• Ensure construction work complies with approved plans, specifications, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve design and construction issues.
• Monitor project progress and prepare detailed reports on site activities.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to design specifications.
• Manage and mentor junior staff and site personnel.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of architectural materials and components.
• Implement best practices for safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in site architecture in UAE.
• Proven experience working on large-scale projects in the UAE or similar markets, including residential developments, commercial complexes, malls, or comparable high-value projects..
• Strong knowledge of architectural design, construction methods, and local building codes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design and project management software.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Professional engineering license or certification.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
• Familiarity with Dubai’s regulatory environment and construction standards.
