Senior Security Engineer
We’re looking for an experienced engineer who enjoys operating at the intersection of platform engineering, infrastructure, and security.
In this role, you will help build and secure core systems that power a large scale platform environment, working across everything from backend services to automation and operational tooling.
Responsibilities
- Building and enhancing core platform capabilities across different layers of the stack
- Developing secure, reliable services using technologies such as
C/C++
,
Java
, and
Go
- Improving platform security through system hardening, remediation efforts, and secure engineering practices
- Supporting infrastructure modernisation and automation initiatives
- Creating tooling and workflows that improve deployment, testing, and operational efficiency
- Collaborating with engineering teams to strengthen security throughout the software lifecycle
- Helping drive technical direction and contributing to architectural decisions
Requirements
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience in at least one systems or backend language
- Hands-on experience working in Linux-based environments
- Familiarity with security-focused engineering concepts and modern infrastructure practices
- Exposure to CI/CD, automation tooling, and operational workflows
- Someone who can move comfortably between development, infrastructure, and security-related work
- A proactive engineer who enjoys ownership, problem-solving, and working in dynamic environments
