Role Overview
Penspen is a leading energy services company providing engineering, project management, asset management, and integrity services to the energy industry worldwide for over 65 years.
Penspen is looking for a Senior Scheduling/Planning Engineer (Offshore) to work in its PMS project in Khafji in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The role is accountable for the management of the project controls team deployed on various projects.
Project control support is given to the Project Management team who acts on behalf of the client (Khafji Joint Operations, KJO) and delivers the program of projects.
The role will also be involved in review of early-stage deliverables (FEL1 and FEL2), as far as cost, schedule, and risk is concerned, produced by KJO front end development department.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills)
- At least fourteen (14) years of experience, of which at least ten (10) years in direct involvement in project management, planning, scheduling, cost estimation, cost and budget control, procurement tracking and monitoring/forecasting of engineering and construction activities for major oil and gas p
- PMC experience at similar role for at least several years is preferable.
- Working knowledge of various contracting types and strategies related to project execution.
- Prior experience in schedule and cost benchmarking of oil and gas upstream projects.
- Computer literate with all MS Packages, particularly Word and Excel proficient.
- Working knowledge of Primavera P6 package.
Qualifications
- An engineering, construction, or project management degree.
