Role overview
A UAE-based engineering and trading company is bringing a European generator and power-solutions brand to the UAE market.
Its portfolio includes diesel generator sets, synchronization systems, hybrid power solutions, microgrid technologies, and critical power applications.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market-share targets; identify opportunities across UAE public and private sectors.
- Build relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, facility owners, and end users; manage a pipeline for generator and power-solution projects.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals with engineering and procurement teams, lead negotiations, and close key-account contracts.
- Participate in tenders and prequalification; develop channel partners and strategic alliances where required.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs; coordinate with the manufacturer on technical support, pricing, product development, and opportunities.
- Represent the company at exhibitions, conferences, and networking events.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of sales experience in generator sets, power generation, or critical power systems for relevant UAE sectors.
- Proven UAE-market sales-target achievement and a strong network in relevant sectors.
- Experience with diesel generators, synchronization systems, ATS panels, power distribution, or hybrid energy solutions.
- Strong commercial, negotiation, and presentation skills; UAE driving license is mandatory.
- Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.

- The role is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
