How you will make an impact:

The Senior Risk Analyst advances the company’s risk management function through disciplined data governance, insurance renewal readiness, exposure tracking, and risk reporting.

This role improves the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of information used by brokers, carriers, underwriters, Accounting, EHS, Operations, Legal/Contracts, and senior leadership.

The position owns the processes used to collect, validate, reconcile, and report risk and insurance data across property, casualty, fleet, equipment, certificates of insurance, loss runs, exposure changes, and supporting documentation.

The Senior Risk Analyst serves as the bridge between operational risk, insurance requirements, and financial reporting to ensure submitted information is clear, defensible, and decision ready.

• Own annual and mid-term insurance renewal data collection, including timelines, documentation, underwriting submissions, exposure schedules, and status reporting.
• Develop standardized renewal workflows that define data owners, source systems, validation steps, approval checkpoints, and escalation paths.
• Coordinate renewal submissions with brokers, carriers, underwriters, Accounting, EHS, Operations, Legal/Contracts, and other stakeholders to improve accuracy and decision readiness.

• Establish and maintain risk-data quality standards for property values, equipment inventories, fleet schedules, certificates, underwriting materials, claims data, and operational risk inputs.
• Collect, validate, reconcile, and explain data from financial records, asset systems, claims/loss data, audits, and operational systems, and EHS reporting.
• Identify recurring data gaps, inconsistent definitions, missing documentation, and manual rework; implement corrective actions that improve submission confidence.

• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and renewal-readiness summaries using RMIS, Power BI, Excel, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Provide leadership visibility into exposure trends, renewal status, claims/loss trends, insurance program performance, cost drivers, and data-quality issues.
• Translate analytics into operational and financial insights, including potential impacts to premiums, deductibles, retentions, coverage strategy, and risk-reduction priorities.

• Strong working knowledge of property and casualty insurance, renewal submissions, underwriting data, exposure schedules, policy documentation, certificates, endorsements, and loss reporting.
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex data, identify trends, reconcile discrepancies, and convert findings into practical recommendations.
• Experience developing dashboards, management reports, renewal-readiness summaries, and executive-level risk updates.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with Accounting, EHS, Operations, Legal/Contracts, brokers, carriers, TPAs, vendors, and senior leaders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Six or more years of progressive experience in risk management, insurance, risk analytics, renewal coordination, risk finance, or related operational risk roles.
• Experience supporting property and casualty renewals, underwriting submissions, exposure schedules, certificates, policy records, claims/loss data, or broker/carrier coordination.
• Proficiency with Excel; experience with RMIS, Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce, or similar platforms preferred. ARM, CRM, CPCU, CRIS, PMP, Six Sigma, or similar credential preferred.
