About the role

• Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Revenue Management team as a Senior Revenue Management Analyst to be based in Doha, Qatar.
• As a Senior Revenue Management Analyst, you will focus on conveying an analytical foundation to uncover business concerns and unforeseen business opportunities.
• You will be working with complex business problems through meaningful and actionable business analysis and insights.
• In this role, you will be involved with structuring the problem, extracting and analyzing data, presenting the findings, and making recommendations to support decision making.
• You will primarily be responsible for visualizing data using Tableau and other visualization tools.
• This role will require you to work closely with several key functional and technical teams across the wider commercial organization, including Revenue Management, Global Sales, E-Commerce, and Corporate Planning.
• Some of the key responsibility includes the below;
• Analyze the route and traffic flows, POS contributions, class mix, booking patters, channel mix performance including e-commerce, and competitive landscape analysis and provide to insightful information to drive incremental revenue.
• Be able to visualize data using Tableau and other visualization tools to support further analysis.
• Participate in the design and implementation approach to steer optimal flows in order to maximize revenue performance.
• Delivering on-going analysis and data driven insights within the wider commercial organization.
• Perform evaluation of business strategies, trends and expansion opportunities across the network for short- and medium-term planning needs.
• Develop reporting and analytical plan, coupled with other Business Intelligence Initiatives and metrics to serve as benchmarks to operational goals in line with the overall commercial strategy and revenue target.
• Deploy frameworks, including tools, templates, and Tableau dashboards and communication approaches to guide and implement the commercial planning process.

Qualification

• About you
• The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
• Relevant University qualification to minimum Bachelors level preferably in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Operational Research, or Analytical related fields. A Master’s degree in quantitative discipline would be preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years or relevant experience in business strategy, business intelligence, management consulting, or analytical related field.
• Prior experience working with the airline/aviation industry would be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, and Visualization tools.
• Advanced Excel skills is a must.

Experience

• working with Business Intelligence and statistical tools e.g.
• SQL, Business Objects, would be preferred.
• Intermediate to advance skills at preparing and presenting information using Power Point.
