About the role
A leading local GCC bank is seeking to appoint a Senior Relationship Manager.
For a Corporate Banking to support the continued expansion.
This is a strategic front-office role focused on originating, managing, and growing relationships with mid-to-large corporate clients across the UAE and wider GCC region.
The successful candidate will bring a strong track record in corporate banking coverage, credit structuring, and revenue generation, ideally gained within large regional or international financial institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a portfolio of corporate clients, delivering sustainable revenue growth across lending, deposits, trade finance, treasury, and transaction banking products.
- Originate new-to-bank relationships within target sectors including large local corporates, regional groups, family offices, and multinational subsidiaries.
- Build and execute relationship plans for key clients, identifying cross-sell opportunities across the bank’s product platform.
- Lead credit discussions, structure lending solutions, and coordinate internal approvals in line with risk appetite and policy.
- Prepare high-quality credit proposals, annual reviews, and transaction memos for internal committees.
- Monitor portfolio performance, client financials, covenant compliance, and industry developments.
- Work closely with product partners including Trade Finance, Cash Management, Treasury, Investment Banking, and Risk.
- Represent the bank in the DIFC market and broader UAE corporate ecosystem to enhance brand presence and pipeline generation.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, AML/KYC standards, and governance frameworks.
- Support the Head of Corporate Banking in executing the division’s growth strategy and mentoring junior team members where required.
Candidate Profile
- 10–15 years of experience in Corporate Banking / Relationship Management.
- Proven experience covering large corporates, upper mid-market, and complex client relationships.
- Strong preference for candidates from leading local, regional, or international banking institutions.
- Demonstrated track record in revenue generation, loan book growth, and client acquisition.
- Strong credit analysis and structuring capability across bilateral and syndicated facilities.
- Good understanding of the UAE and GCC corporate landscape.
- Existing network within Dubai / UAE corporate market highly advantageous.
- Strong commercial judgement, client-facing presence, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related discipline. MBA/CFA/ACCA is advantageous.
