Commercial Leadership

• Take ownership of project commercial performance from tender through to final account
• Lead cost planning, budgeting, and financial reporting across multiple projects
• Provide strategic input on procurement, phasing, and cost optimization

Pre-Contract

• Prepare detailed BOQs and cost plans for complex landscape works
• Lead tendering processes, including subcontractor and supplier engagement
• Critically evaluate quotations and drive value engineering initiatives
• Support contract structuring and negotiation

Post-Contract

• Manage valuations, variations, and claims with a high level of accuracy
• Oversee subcontractor commercial management and payment certification
• Maintain cost forecasts and proactively manage financial risk
• Lead change management and ensure full contractual compliance

Technical Landscape Expertise

• Strong background in
• hardscape
• (natural stone, bespoke paving, structures, water features)
• Solid understanding of
• softscape
• (planting strategies, mature trees, turf, soil systems)
• Experience with
• irrigation systems, drainage, and external services coordination
• Ability to price and manage
• high-end materials and custom landscape elements
• Familiarity with UAE supply chains, plant sourcing, and specialist subcontractors

Stakeholder & Contract Management

• Lead commercial discussions with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
• Ensure full compliance with contract conditions, including FIDIC
• Prepare and agree final accounts with a strong commercial position

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
• 8–12 years of experience, with a strong UAE landscape portfolio
• Background in
• high-end villas, hospitality, or public realm projects
• Proven experience working within leading landscape contractors or consultancies
• Strong working knowledge of FIDIC and industry-standard contracts
• With previous background handling projects like Al Barari, Dubai Hills, Emirates Hills.
