Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant Quality experience
  • ISO/AS Quality Management System experience required
  • Experience of AS9102 First Article Inspection Requirements
  • Knowledge of Quality procedures, inspection techniques, specifications & drawings within a manufacturing environment
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite - Word and Excel
  • Proficiency in ERP systems – SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards or similar
  • Understanding of LSS tools & manufacturing fundamentals preferred
  • ASQ certification such as CQI, CQT, CQA, or similar preferred
  • GD&T, CMM programming, optical equipment programming and/or NDT capabilities preferred
  • Knowledge and use of standard measuring devices preferred
  • Good communication skills, including the ability to work cross-functionally required.
  • The ability to develop and execute tactical plans, working independently as well as coaching site functions; High sense of urgency and to take well-reasoned, proactive action when goals are not being met
  • The ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances and help foster necessary response across the organization
