Senior QAQC Manager

About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA/QC Manager to lead all quality assurance and quality control activities for a Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) project in Qatar . The candidate will ensure that all project activities comply with Qatar construction standards, project specifications, and client requirements, while maintaining the highest quality standards throughout construction, testing, and commissioning phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the Project Quality Management Plan (PQMP) in accordance with ISO 9001 and project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Ashghal, QCS (Qatar Construction Specifications), and project quality standards.
• Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, Quality Procedures, and Material Submittals.
• Lead and manage the QA/QC team across all disciplines.
• Coordinate with Consultant, Client, and Third-Party Inspectors for inspections and approvals.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Manage NCRs, corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct internal and external quality audits.
• Maintain all quality documentation for project handover.
• Support testing and commissioning activities.
• Provide regular quality performance reports to Project Management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil or related discipline).
• Minimum 12–15 years of QA/QC experience, preferably in water/wastewater or infrastructure projects.
• Mandatory experience in STP/WWTP projects.
• Strong knowledge of QCS and Qatar project requirements.
• Experience with Ashghal or major infrastructure projects in Qatar is preferred.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor/Internal Auditor certification is an advantage.
• Strong leadership and coordination skills.
