Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with experience in fire-fighting and safety products.
- At least 4–5 years of experience in estimation, proposals, tendering, or technical sales.
- UAE/GCC experience in trading, distribution, or supply companies is required.
- Strong knowledge of BOQs, tenders, specifications, supplier negotiations, and commercial proposals.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and good documentation skills.
Key responsibilities
- Review RFQs, tenders, BOQs, drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
- Prepare quotations, cost estimates, technical offers, and tender submissions.
- Select suitable products, manufacturers, and suppliers based on project requirements.
- Obtain and negotiate competitive supplier prices, delivery terms, and commercial conditions.
- Prepare technical submittals, compliance statements, datasheets, certificates, and supporting documents.
- Ensure proposed products meet project specifications, authority requirements, and relevant standards.
- Coordinate technical and commercial requirements with sales, procurement, suppliers, and customers.
- Maintain updated supplier pricing, product, and quotation databases.
- Support tender negotiations, order finalization, and pricing or product alternatives.
- Ensure proposals are accurate, complete, and submitted within deadlines.
Pay
- AED 5,000–6,000 per month.
