We are looking for an experienced Senior Proposal Manager to lead our proposal processes and play a key role in delivering competitive bids for industrial projects in our Abu Dhabi office
This position requires strong technical, commercial, and coordination skills, working closely with cross-functional teams and managing end-to-end proposal activities.
Job Description
- Lead and manage the end-to-end proposal process, from request analysis to submission
- Review tender documents, technical specifications, and client requirements
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, production and logistics teams
- Oversee cost estimation, pricing strategy, and commercial evaluations
- Manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring accurate quotations
- Ensure all proposals comply with technical, commercial, and contractual requirements
- Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals to clients
- Participate in clarification meetings, negotiations, and site visits when required
- Establish and continuously improve proposal databases and benchmarking systems
- Lead, mentor, and support proposal engineering team members
- Monitor project alignment with budget, timelines, and quality standards
- Provide regular reporting to senior management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering disciplines
- Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in proposal, tendering, or project-related roles
- Experience in refinery, petrochemical, or power plant projects is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of technical specifications, standards, and contract requirements
- Proven experience in cost estimation, pricing, and financial analysis
- Excellent command of English (written & spoken)
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple proposals under tight deadlines
- Analytical mindset with a solution-oriented approach
- Proficient in MS Office tools
- No travel restrictions
