- Do you want your contribution to have direct impact on patient access and long-term manufacturing capabilities?
- Then this position could be a great opportunity for you.
- The position
- This is a senior position within Quality Control Laboratory, dedicated to the Novo Nordisk KSA localization program. As Senior Project Manager – QC Laboratory, you will act as Work Package Owner (WPO) for the QC Laboratory aseptic manufacturing scope, supporting our local partner SaudiBIO in technology transfer, laboratory readiness, analytical method transfer and ramp-up of operations – ensuring full alignment with Novo Nordisk Quality standards and regulatory requirements. You will report to the Program Head and be part of the program localization management team.
- Your new role
- Acting as Senior Project Manager and QC Laboratory Work Package Owner gives you the opportunity to work on a large and strategic localization program with high visibility.
- Novo Nordisk provides technical, quality and project leadership in support of SaudiBIO as the local partner, and your primary role will be to drive and coordinate Novo Nordisk's QC Laboratory support activities across the program.
- Day-to-day your tasks will include:
- Acting as Work Package Owner for the QC Laboratory, representing Novo Nordisk towards SaudiBIO.
- Coordinating QC Laboratory technology transfer and analytical method transfer activities.

- Providing guidance, training and mentoring to the local partner in line with Novo Nordisk standards.
- Safeguarding compliance with EU GMP, Novo Nordisk Quality requirements and local regulatory expectations.
- Managing milestones, risks and interfaces with other work packages.
- Supporting the QC Laboratory ramp-up until stable routine operation is achieved.
- Your new department
- In Global Manufacturing & Supply, we cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed Novo Nordisk products.
- We are more than 30,000 colleagues across the globe with the shared responsibility of scaling molecules, processes, devices, and products, dedicated to supplying life-saving medicines to the patients who need them most.
- You will join GCM DP RoW, part of Novo Nordisk's Global Manufacturing Services (GMS) organization, which supports the establishment of sustainable manufacturing capabilities in markets where a local presence is required. The KSA localization program is a multi-phase initiative developing local pharmaceutical manufacturing capabilities in Saudi Arabia in close collaboration with SaudiBIO. Phases 1 and 2 focus on revamping and upgrading existing facilities to enable finished products and aseptic manufacturing, while Phase 3 encompasses an EPC greenfield expansion for further localization – all contributing to Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 through sustainable, high-quality pharmaceutical production in the Kingdom.
- Your skills & qualifications
- We are looking for a Senior Project Manager who thrives in complex, cross-cultural environments and brings both technical depth and strong leadership.
- You'll bring with you:
- An advanced degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Engineering or a similar discipline.
- Strong experience within QC Laboratories, including analytical methods, validation and GMP compliance.
- Proven experience with technology transfer and QC Laboratory readiness.
