ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Project Manager to lead our project delivery function across all interior fit-out and joinery works. This senior leadership position will be responsible for overseeing multiple concurrent projects, ensuring exceptional quality, on-time delivery, and client satisfaction while driving operational excellence across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Delivery You will provide strategic oversight of all projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This includes establishing project governance frameworks, implementing best practices in project management methodologies, and ensuring consistent delivery standards across all work streams.

Team Management You will lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers and coordinators, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. This involves resource planning, performance management, skills development, and succession planning to build a high-performing projects team.

Client & Stakeholder Management You will maintain strong relationships with key clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers, acting as an escalation point for complex issues and ensuring client expectations are consistently exceeded. You will represent the company at client meetings, presentations, and negotiations for major projects.

Commercial & Financial Oversight You will ensure robust financial management across all projects, including budget development, cost control, variation management, and profitability analysis. You will work closely with the estimating and commercial teams to ensure accurate project costing and margin protection.

Quality, Safety & Compliance You will champion quality assurance and health and safety protocols across all project sites, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, and company standards. You will implement systems to identify and mitigate risks proactively.

Process Improvement & Systems You will continuously evaluate and enhance project management processes, systems, and tools to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization. This includes implementing digital solutions and technologies that enhance project delivery.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 8+ years' experience in project management within the interiors, fit-out, or joinery sector
• Proven track record of successfully delivering multiple complex, high-value projects simultaneously
• Strong understanding of interior design, construction methodologies, joinery manufacturing, and fit-out processes
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing project teams
• Excellent commercial acumen with strong financial and contract management skills
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• Professional certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) highly desirable
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite
