Senior Project Manager
About This Role
A leading main contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a major residential or hospital project in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the project from construction through to handover, ensuring delivery in line with programme, budget, quality, and safety objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of project delivery from mobilisation to handover
- Oversee construction, engineering, commercial, planning, and subcontractor teams
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Manage client, consultant, and stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle
- Monitor programme, cost, risk, and resource allocation across the project
- Drive construction strategy, sequencing, and site coordination activities
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, UAE regulations, and HSE standards
- Lead progress meetings and provide regular reporting to senior management
- Identify and mitigate project risks while driving operational efficiency
- Support commercial teams with variations, claims, and contractual matters
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager with a recognised main contractor
- Strong track record delivering large-scale residential or healthcare/hospital projects
- Minimum 15+ years’ construction experience, including UAE experience
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Strong understanding of project planning, commercial management, and construction methodologies
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
