Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented

Senior Project Manager

to join our dynamic team!.

In this role you will be responsible for the planning, coordination and delivery of multi-level car park facilities and associated access infrastructure within a major venue and infrastructure development programme.

The Senior Project Manager will oversee all aspects of project delivery from design development and procurement through construction, commissioning and handover, ensuring the facilities meet operational, safety, capacity and programme requirements.

What You'Ll Be Doing

  • Lead the delivery of the car parks package from design development through construction, commissioning and handover.
  • Manage all project activities associated with multi-storey parking structures, vehicle circulation systems, access roads, drop-off areas and associated infrastructure.
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams including architects, engineers, contractors, specialist suppliers and project stakeholders.
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling and phasing activities to ensure alignment with overall programme milestones and operational requirements.
  • Monitor project performance against cost, schedule, quality and safety objectives, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
  • Manage design development and technical reviews to ensure compliance with project requirements, operational functionality and applicable codes and standards.
  • Coordinate interfaces between structural, architectural, MEP, ICT, security systems, traffic management and infrastructure works.
  • Support procurement strategies, contractor management and contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead risk management, issue resolution and change control processes to minimise impacts on project delivery.
  • Coordinate with authorities and regulatory agencies to obtain required permits, approvals and operational clearances.
  • Ensure effective integration of parking guidance systems, access control, security systems, EV charging infrastructure and smart mobility solutions where applicable.
  • Oversee testing, commissioning and operational readiness activities to ensure facilities are fully functional and ready for occupancy and event operations.
  • Prepare and present project reports, progress updates and key performance metrics to senior management and client stakeholders.
  • Mentor and manage project teams, promoting collaboration, accountability and delivery excellence.

What Required Skills You'Ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related discipline. Master’s Degree in a relevant field is advantageous.
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in project or programme management within large-scale construction and infrastructure developments.
  • Demonstrable experience managing major car parking, transportation, mixed-use, venue or comparable complex developments.
  • Proven track record of delivering large capital projects within multi-disciplinary and multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Strong understanding of car park design, structural systems, traffic circulation, access management and operational requirements.
  • Experience managing complex project interfaces involving infrastructure, transportation networks, utilities and adjacent developments.
  • Strong commercial and contractual management skills, including budget management, change control, risk management and claims administration.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project controls, programme management, reporting and governance processes.
  • Experience working within live or operational environments requiring detailed phasing, logistics planning and stakeholder coordination.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage diverse project teams and external partners.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities with the ability to manage competing priorities and project pressures.
  • Ability to maintain strategic oversight while ensuring successful day-to-day project execution and delivery.
