Senior Project Manager

Role overview

Key tasks

• Manage IM/IT projects from initiation through completion, defining scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Plan schedules, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements; manage risks, issues, and changes.
• Prepare project plans, status reports, communications, and budgets; liaise with stakeholders and support C-suite engagement.
• Assign team tasks, assess trade-offs, recommend direction, and negotiate for needed resources.
• Support vendor management, IM/IT contracts, and Request for Proposal development; contribute to business analysis.

Key qualifications

• 10+ years as a project manager delivering complex IM/IT projects and programs through implementation.
• Experience with external vendors and multi-site rollouts, and ability to lead governance, stakeholder management, and C-suite engagement.
• PMP certification and a college diploma or degree in a relevant field are required.
• English or French is essential; bilingual English and French is an asset.
• Reliability Security Clearance eligibility is required.

Additional experience

• Experience in resource planning, reporting, prioritization, budgeting, scope and change management, vendor management, IM/IT contracts, risk, and issue management.
• Experience in business analysis, Request for Proposal development, software delivery, databases, networking, software integration, team leadership, and C-suite stakeholder management.
• CA Clarity Project and Portfolio Management and CRM systems experience are assets.

Compensation

• CAD 97,420–114,660 per year.
