Senior Program Manager – Finance Modernization

Opportunity

Location and arrangement

Pay

• Pay is $80–$120 per hour.

What you'll do

• Lead program planning, delivery, and implementation within approved scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate teams, business partners, service partners, and vendors; maintain integrated schedules and manage dependencies and variances.
• Manage resource forecasts, contract invoice validation, program funding, and financial reporting.
• Translate the initiative vision into scope, design, plans, and measurable goals; focus teams on high-value work.
• Facilitate agile sprints, backlog grooming, and ceremonies.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, risks, issues, action owners, and mitigation plans.
• Provide weekly and monthly governance reporting to senior management and executives; gather input for detailed implementation plans.

What you bring

• Undergraduate degree and a proven record running technology programs with high request volume and competing priorities.
• Strong command of JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, presentation, organization, and time-management skills; able to communicate with technical and business audiences.
• Hands-on experience with agile, waterfall, and hybrid delivery; able to work across technical and business functions.
• Matrixed-environment experience; large publicly traded financial services experience is preferred.
• Preferred: program management (8 years), SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation (5 years), technology program or large-project management (8 years), financial services (5 years), and subledger or general ledger technology (5 years).
• Preferred: PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or other relevant certification; enterprise GenAI tools and AI-enabled SDLC familiarity.
