SAP ABAP Developer – CRM / Web UI

Work model and location

• The role is hybrid in downtown Toronto, with four days per week onsite and one day remote.
• Applicants must currently live in the Greater Toronto Area and be available for the onsite schedule.

Employment and engagement

• This is a full-time contract position.
• The initial contract is three months with a strong possibility of extension.
• Expected hours are 40 per week.

Compensation

• The posting states compensation of $100 to $120 per hour depending on experience.
• A later pay statement lists $70 to $110 per hour.

Required qualifications

• 8–10 or more years of SAP development or consulting experience.
• Strong SAP ABAP and SAP CRM development experience.
• Mandatory SAP CRM ABAP, Web UI development, and implementation experience.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP OOP, SAP CRM Web UI, and SAP CRM frameworks.
• Experience with CRM Sales, CRM Service, Quotation Management, Opportunity Management, and PPF.
• Experience building ABAP frameworks from the ground up and delivering full-scale CRM implementations.
• Ability to collaborate with functional consultants and offshore development resources.
• Financial Services industry experience is highly desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop SAP ABAP solutions within SAP CRM.
• Develop CRM Sales and Service functionality using CRM Web UI and CRM frameworks.
• Develop solutions for Sales, Service, Quotation Management, and Opportunity Management.
• Design reusable ABAP frameworks and participate in technical architecture discussions.
• Translate requirements into technical solutions with functional SAP CRM consultants.
• Support testing, debugging, deployment, production implementation, and complex issue troubleshooting.
