Senior Product Owner – Cybersecurity

QuantumGate is a cybersecurity venture focused on post-quantum security solutions, including cryptographic migration tools, passwordless authentication, and network access with zero-trust principles. Our mission is to empower organizations with tools that are secure, scalable, and aligned with emerging regulatory frameworks. We serve enterprise and government clients across the UAE and beyond.

We are expanding our Product Team to strengthen leadership across our portfolio, which includes the Crypto Discovery Tool, VPN and Data Security, Identity and Access Management and Secure Virtual Mobile Infrastructure solutions.

We are seeking a senior, technically strong and strategically minded Product Owner to join our growing team. You will take ownership of one or more QuantumGate products, working closely with engineering, program, and cybersecurity teams to define product vision, shape roadmaps, and deliver impactful features.

This role requires deep technical fluency, cybersecurity domain understanding, and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable development plans. You will be expected to integrate seamlessly into program teams and drive product excellence from ideation to release.

Responsibilities

• Own the product lifecycle for one or more QuantumGate products, from roadmap definition to release and iteration.
• Drive and ensure alignment between product development, product vision, user expectations, and overall business objectives, influencing portfolio direction as needed.
• Serve as the main bridge between technical and business stakeholders, ensuring transparency and clarity throughout the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineering, program, and cybersecurity teams to define features, capabilities, and technical specifications.
• Translate market insights, regulatory requirements, and customer feedback into prioritized epics and user stories that follow the INVEST principles with clear acceptance criteria.
• Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release coordination with cross-functional teams, adjusting priorities as needed based on feedback and delivery metrics.
• Ensure product alignment with national cybersecurity frameworks and compliance mandates.
• Act as the voice of the product in internal and external forums, including customer engagements and partner discussions.
• Monitor product performance, adoption, and feedback to inform continuous improvement.
• Deliver measurable product outcomes (e.g., adoption, revenue growth, compliance milestones).

Requirements

• Technical Background : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Product Experience : 5+ years as a Product Owner or Product Manager in cybersecurity, enterprise software, or infrastructure domains.
• Cybersecurity Fluency : Understanding of cryptographic technologies, threat models, and secure software development practices is highly preferred.
• Agile Expertise : Proven experience working in Agile environments with distributed engineering teams.
• Communication Skills : Excellent ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.
• Strategic Thinking : Ability to align product decisions with business goals, regulatory timelines, and market dynamics.
• Team Integration : Demonstrated success integrating into program teams and contributing to daily technical discussions.
• Tool Proficiency : Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Figma, and Git.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with cybersecurity regulations and national compliance programs.
• Exposure to Zero Trust architectures, cryptographic inventory tools, or vulnerability management platforms.
• Prior work with hardware security modules (HSMs), key lifecycle management, or secure cloud deployments.
• Experience with VPN and PKI technologies.
