Senior product role owning the Buying & Sourcing domain of the Category Management Platform from discovery to delivery.
The role is based at Jafza One, Dubai.
Key responsibilities
- Own the full product lifecycle, including discovery, PRDs, story writing, sprint planning, delivery, UAT, and rollout.
- Lead a small, skilled engineering team, set direction, remove blockers, and enable fast delivery without day-to-day hand-holding.
- Work with buying and sourcing business teams across concepts to capture workflows and design platform-first solutions.
- Use AI across the SDLC for discovery mocks, PRD and specification generation, test design, and engineering acceleration.
- Champion standardized processes across concepts and challenge customization that creates technical debt.
- Maintain a clear understanding of system integrations.
Must-have experience
- Product experience with retail business platforms, internal operational tools, ERP-adjacent workflows, or commerce infrastructure.
- Demonstrated hands-on AI use across discovery, specification generation, prototyping, test design, and engineering acceleration.
- Ability to independently lead a small engineering team, set direction, manage pace, and drive delivery without day-to-day oversight.
Preferred profile
- Buying and sourcing domain knowledge across the end-to-end cycle is strongly preferred.
- Own outcomes from initial concept through shipped capability and act effectively amid ambiguity.
- Advocate for platform-first, scalable workflows across brands.
- Communicate confidently and independently lead workshops, stakeholder reviews, and leadership updates.
