Senior Product Designer

Role Overview

Accountabilities

• Own end-to-end product design from problem discovery and user research through ideation, prototyping, validation, implementation, and launch.
• Simplify complex workflows into intuitive experiences for field crews, office teams, and their customers.
• Design AI-powered and agentic product interactions with transparency, user control, and confirmation.
• Use tools such as Claude and Cursor to accelerate prototyping and share successful approaches team-wide.
• Collaborate across disciplines to define requirements, evaluate technical trade-offs, and translate business objectives into product experiences.
• Engage directly with customers through conversations and on-site visits to understand user needs.
• Strengthen design systems, component libraries, and design operations practices.
• Balance usability and business strategy across consumer-grade and business-user workflows.
• Champion design quality through critiques and effective communication of design decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement by validating assumptions and refining solutions.

Requirements

• At least four years of product design experience within a SaaS company with a track record of launching successful products.
• Strong fundamentals in user flows, interaction design, information architecture, and simplifying complex workflows.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Claude and Cursor in practical workflows.
• Comfort working with technical systems and collaborating with engineering teams.
• Ability to build functional prototypes and translate design concepts into working experiences.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating outcome-driven product design across multiple user flows.
• Proficiency in Figma and confidence working with component libraries and reusable design patterns.
• Genuine curiosity about user needs and ability to advocate for effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to explain design rationale and influence multidisciplinary teams.
• Proactive, accountable mindset with ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada or the United States without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience designing AI-powered products, agentic workflows, or intelligent user experiences is an advantage.
• Experience contributing to or building design systems and component libraries is highly desirable.
• Experience improving design quality through structured feedback, design critiques, or process improvements is a plus.

Compensation

• Annual base salary ranging from CAD $140,000 to CAD $190,000 for Canada-based candidates.
