Analytics and product decisions

• Analyze pricing performance, shipment win rates, customer behavior, and pricing trends; recommend pricing and product improvements.
• Define, measure, report, and visualize product KPIs and OKRs; build dashboards, analytical models, and reporting tools.
• Conduct about 5–10 high-impact analyses each month to prioritize enhancements, validate hypotheses, measure feature impact, and identify opportunities.
• Design and evaluate experiments, including MVP validation and A/B testing, and measure impact.

Collaboration and communication

• Work autonomously to identify analytical opportunities and turn ambiguous business questions into structured analyses and actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and business stakeholders throughout planning and execution.
• Present findings clearly; create visualizations from complex datasets, including geographic and event-based data.
• Participate in prospective team-member interviews and mentor newer analytics team members.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 3–5+ years of experience in product, pricing, marketplace, business, or similar analytics supporting product and business decisions.
• Advanced SQL proficiency, including independent writing, debugging, and optimization of complex queries.
• Experience with BI and visualization platforms such as Tableau, Looker, Sigma, Mode, or similar tools.
• Experience with experimentation, including MVP validation, A/B testing, KPI development, impact measurement, and hypothesis testing.
• Ability to independently approach ambiguous problems, prioritize competing initiatives, and deliver high-quality analytical work.
• Strong communication skills for presenting complex analysis to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications

• Python experience for data analysis, automation, or statistical modeling; statistical analysis experience; and exposure to machine learning or predictive analytics are preferred.
• Experience in Agile product development or freight, logistics, transportation, or two-sided marketplace businesses is preferred.

Compensation

• The stated base salary range is $119,000–$130,000 per year.
• Full-time employees are eligible for equity and benefits; actual pay may depend on skills, experience, and geographic location.
