Senior Procurement Executive

Role overview

Procurement and supplier management

• Manage international suppliers and manufacturing partners, especially in China.
• Negotiate pricing, discounts, payment terms, minimum order quantities, lead times, and commercial terms.
• Follow up with factories on production and shipment schedules and address delays, quality issues, pricing concerns, and missed commitments.
• Handle claims, RMAs, replacement parts, shortages, damaged goods, and warranty-related procurement.
• Compare suppliers and identify better pricing, quality, terms, or alternative sourcing.

Inventory and purchasing

• Monitor stock and place replenishment orders at the right time.
• Analyze sales history, stock movement, lead times, and demand to prepare purchasing forecasts and plans.
• Identify fast-, slow-, and non-moving inventory and recommend actions to prevent stock-outs and unnecessary overstocking.
• Track open purchase orders from confirmation through production, shipment, and delivery.
• Maintain supplier, product-cost, lead-time, and purchasing records; report on procurement, inventory, stock movement, and supplier performance.

Collaboration and process improvement

• Work with Sales, Warehouse, Finance, and Management to improve inventory availability and purchasing efficiency.
• Continuously improve procurement and inventory-planning processes.

Candidate requirements

• At least 2 years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management experience.
• Proven international procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience, including direct work with Chinese manufacturers and suppliers.
• Strong commercial negotiation skills and experience with inventory planning, forecasting, replenishment, and stock management.
• Ability to analyze sales and inventory data and make purchasing decisions; strong Excel, ERP, and reporting skills.
• Experience handling supplier delays, claims, replacements, and RMAs.
• Consumer-products or product-based procurement experience is specifically sought, including finished goods, SKUs, replenishment, forecasting, lead times, costing, and stock movement.
• Candidates whose experience is mainly limited to raw materials, commodities, or construction materials may not be suitable.
• Highly organized, analytical, proactive, commercially minded, and able to own the procurement function.

Pay

• Pay is AED 5,000–6,500 per month.

Location and work arrangement

• Dubai, UAE; the role requires in-person work.
