Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Manage international suppliers and factories, especially in China; negotiate pricing, discounts, payment terms, MOQs, lead times, and other commercial terms.
• Keep production and shipments on schedule; hold suppliers accountable and manage claims, RMAs, replacements, shortages, damaged goods, and warranty-related purchasing.
• Monitor stock and place replenishment orders; forecast demand and prepare purchasing plans using sales, inventory, lead-time, and stock-movement data.
• Identify fast-, slow-, and non-moving stock; prevent stock-outs and overstocking; track orders through delivery.
• Compare suppliers, maintain purchasing and product records, and report on procurement, inventory, stock movement, and supplier performance.
• Work with Sales, Warehouse, Finance, and Management to improve availability, purchasing efficiency, and procurement processes.

What we are looking for

• At least two years of procurement, sourcing, or supply-chain management experience.
• Proven international procurement or sourcing experience, including direct work with Chinese manufacturers and suppliers.
• Strong commercial negotiation, inventory planning, demand forecasting, replenishment, and stock-management experience.
• Ability to analyze sales and inventory data and turn it into purchasing decisions.
• Experience handling supplier delays, claims, replacements, RMAs, and commercial negotiations.
• Strong Excel, ERP, and reporting skills; organized, analytical, proactive, commercially minded, and able to take ownership.

Relevant industry experience

• Consumer-products or product-based procurement experience is specifically sought, involving finished goods, SKUs, inventory, replenishment, forecasting, supplier lead times, product costing, and stock movement.
• Experience mainly limited to raw materials, commodities, or construction materials may not be suitable.

Work arrangement
