Senior Procurement Engineer (Interior Design / FitOut Industry)
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Procurement Engineer with a Civil Engineering background and a proven track record in the Interior Design / Fit-Out industry within the UAE.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience handling high-value, fast-paced projects and possess strong vendor management, negotiation, and cost optimization skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end procurement activities for large-scale interior fit-out projects.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets.
- Source, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and subcontractors within the UAE market.
- Manage tendering processes, including RFQs, bid analysis, and commercial evaluations.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms to achieve cost efficiency and quality standards.
- Coordinate closely with project managers, design teams, and site teams to ensure material compliance and timely delivery.
- Monitor market trends, material costs, and supplier performance to mitigate risks.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and UAE regulations.
- Handle procurement for high-value projects, ensuring budget adherence and value engineering.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
- 8–10 years of procurement experience in Interior Design / Fit-Out companies in the UAE.
- Strong exposure to high-value, complex projects (commercial, hospitality, retail, or luxury residential).
- In-depth knowledge of local suppliers, subcontractors, and materials.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on cost control and savings.
- Experience in value engineering and alternative sourcing strategies.
- Established supplier network within the UAE fit-out market.
