Penspen is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for its Abu Dhabi location.
The role produces process engineering activities for projects and the business.
Qualifications and experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering is required.
- At least 12 years of experience is required, including eight years in Process Engineering for major oil and gas or petrochemical projects.
- Asset Integrity project experience is mandatory.
Technical knowledge and skills
- Candidates need knowledge of basic engineering processes and familiarity with international codes, standards, and engineering practices.
- Saudi Aramco standards exposure is advantageous.
- The role requires process design knowledge from concept through detailed design, technical problem analysis, Process Flow Diagrams, and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams.
- HYSYS simulation, heat and material balance development, and preparation of engineering deliverables to company standards are required.
Main purpose
- Produce the volume of engineering activities required on projects and within the business.
- Prepare and develop process engineering analyses, simulations, diagrams, balances, and technical deliverables.
