Responsibilities
- Ensure process package designs are safe, economical, and compliant with internal and international codes and standards.
- Ensure simulations and calculations meet project specifications, standards, and design codes.
- Optimize designs to reduce overall product cost.
- Review process documentation for technical accuracy.
- Represent the company at HAZOP, SIL, and other design meetings.
- Address technical enquiries and comments from clients and third parties.
- Review specifications, perform and review concept designs, and review technical aspects of bid submissions.
- Perform and review calculations for packages and individual components.
- Review complex bought-out item quotations.
- Provide technical guidance to junior colleagues and maintain a sound understanding of company products.
Qualifications and experience
- Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of process design experience in Oil & Gas or a related industry.
- Familiarity with international process design standards.
- Familiarity with HYSYS or VMG for process simulation.
- Extensive knowledge of process simulation software and international design standards.
