Role Summary

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) will be responsible for managing all interactions with UAE government authorities and ensuring full legal and regulatory compliance.

This role plays a critical part in supporting construction operations by handling visas, labor, licensing, permits, and approvals required for smooth project execution and workforce management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all government relations with UAE authorities (MOHRE, GDRFA, Immigration, Municipality, Economic Department).
  • Oversee end‑to‑end visa, labor, and immigration processes for large‑scale construction manpower, including bulk processing and compliance.
  • Manage company trade licenses, contracting permits, NOCs, and construction‑related approvals across projects.
  • Ensure full compliance with UAE labor law, immigration regulations, and contracting requirements; advise management on regulatory changes.
  • Support project mobilization, government inspections, and audits, ensuring zero delays to site operations.
  • Maintain governance over document control, expiry tracking, and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
  • 10 - 15 years of experience as a PRO, within construction, contracting, and developing companies (experience in Abu Dhabi is mandatory)
  • Dubai PRO experience is an added advantage
  • Strong working knowledge of UAE government systems and portals (MOHRE, ICA / ICP, TAMM, TASHEEL, GDRFA)
  • Proficient in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
  • Valid UAE driving license is mandatory
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
