Job Overview

Defines and drives technical strategy across the DataEdge portfolio.

Aligns product roadmaps, platform investments, and architecture with customer needs and business objectives.

DataEdge includes data integration, replication, synchronization, virtualization, and data intelligence solutions.

The portfolio will evolve into an integrated platform through cloud-native architecture, shared services, AI-enabled innovation, and cross-product collaboration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Define DataEdge platform strategy and a shared cross-product technical roadmap with Product Management.
  • Build alignment across Product and Engineering teams.
  • Drive reusable services, APIs, frameworks, common platform capabilities, and consolidation of overlapping technologies.
  • Define cloud-native strategies for deployment, configuration, scalability, observability, security, and operational excellence.
  • Lead adoption of AI platform capabilities, intelligent automation, MCP, and agentic systems.
  • Represent the technology vision, promote interoperability, coach AI-enabled development, and lead architecture reviews.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of software engineering experience.
  • Architecture and technology strategy experience across multiple enterprise products or platforms.
  • Expertise in LLMs, agentic systems, MCP, retrieval architectures, enterprise AI integration, and responsible AI.
  • Expertise in cloud-native architecture, containers, Kubernetes, distributed systems, and modern software delivery.
  • Experience building shared platforms, services, APIs, or reusable frameworks.
  • Ability to lead cross-product initiatives and influence without direct authority.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IS, or a related technical discipline.

Travel Requirements

  • Minimal travel of 5% to 10% is required.
