- Essential Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in hardware, infrastructure, or systems product development, or equivalent skill; experience with high-density rack and data center infrastructure solutions highly desired
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional engineering programs and managing technical dependencies across multiple teams
- Strong systems-level engineering expertise with the ability to assess technical risk, complexity, and architecture tradeoffs
- Experience partnering with manufacturing, supply chain, and suppliers to support sourcing, qualification, and product readiness
- Proven ability to influence technical direction, drive engineering best practices, and communicate effectively with senior technical and business stakeholders
- Desirable Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical or Thermal Engineering
- Compensation
- Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this position is $176,000-$242,000
Responsibilities
- You Will:
- Lead cross-functional execution of complex rack and infrastructure programs, ensuring alignment across architecture, engineering, operations, and business priorities
- Assess technical scope, resource requirements, risks, and dependencies for new initiatives, driving informed planning and execution decisions
- Provide technical leadership for component and subsystem development, ensuring seamless integration and coordination across multiple teams and stakeholders
- Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering teams to develop scalable sourcing strategies and ensure successful product delivery
- Drive engineering excellence through best practices in supplier management, product validation, risk mitigation, and resolution of technical and architectural challenges
