Senior Portfolio Manager

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the annual HCM technology roadmap, including priorities, dependencies, investment needs, and expected outcomes.
• Partner with senior P&O leaders and HR process owners on process design, platform capabilities, and justified changes.
• Lead programmes, projects, enhancements, integrations, and releases across the employee lifecycle.
• Oversee design, configuration, testing, deployment, adoption, and transition into support.
• Govern architecture, integrations, data quality, reporting, security, access controls, and compliance.
• Own live service health, including critical HR and payroll activities, service levels, incidents, recurring problems, and release readiness.
• Lead cross-functional teams and implementation partners; manage capacity, dependencies, and budgets.
• Report on progress, risks, service health, spend, and realized benefits; drive continuous improvement.

Required Experience

• 12+ years of experience, including substantial leadership of an enterprise HCM technology portfolio or large-scale HCM transformation in a complex, multi-entity organization.
• Strong HCM business-process knowledge and confidence discussing policy, controls, and user impact with senior P&O leaders.
• Deep enterprise HCM or ERP experience across governance, integrations, data, security, testing, releases, and live operations.
• Proven ownership spanning new delivery and ongoing service performance.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams, partners, budgets, and senior stakeholder expectations.
• Strong judgment, executive communication, and ability to turn ambiguous needs into a practical roadmap.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on leadership with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM or another leading ERP.
• Experience across payroll, time and absence, talent, recruitment, learning, analytics, and HCM integrations.
• Experience in healthcare or another large, regulated, operationally complex environment.
