Senior Planning Manager (M3)

Project and role

Responsibilities

• Champion safety, wellbeing, and inclusive behaviours across project delivery.
• Develop and maintain integrated programmes from initial brief through design, procurement, and construction.
• Monitor milestones, analyse critical-path impacts, and identify programme risks and recovery actions.
• Review contractor and consultant schedules and coordinate dependencies and interfaces across project teams.
• Apply consistent scheduling methods, tools, and EVM to track programme performance.
• Present programme reports, forecasts, and corrective recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
• Lead and develop the planning team and ensure accurate schedules, quality deliverables, and continuous improvement.
• Identify carbon-reduction opportunities and support the net zero transition through planning and delivery.

Requirements

• Degree in construction, engineering, or equivalent.
• Extensive multidisciplinary planning experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Expert scheduling software knowledge.
