Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer (Site Supervision) to join our organization in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
- In this role, you will oversee site planning operations, coordinate construction activities, and ensure projects are executed efficiently and in compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
- You will serve as a key liaison between project management, site teams, and stakeholders, providing strategic oversight and technical expertise to drive project success.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive site plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies to ensure timely project delivery
- Supervise and coordinate daily site activities, including labor management, equipment deployment, and material logistics
- Analyze project requirements and identify potential risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization
- Monitor project progress against established timelines and budgets, implementing corrective actions as needed
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation on site performance, safety metrics, and compliance status
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical issues and maintain project momentum
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and local Saudi Arabian construction standards
- Manage and mentor site supervision teams, providing guidance and performance feedback
- Utilize construction management software and tools to track progress, resources, and project data
- Conduct site inspections and quality assessments to verify work meets specifications and standards
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding project status, challenges, and solutions
Qualifications
- Minimum 12 years of professional experience in site planning, construction management, or site supervision
- Proven expertise in project scheduling, resource planning, and site coordination
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations applicable in Saudi Arabia
- Proficiency with construction management software and project planning tools
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex project data and develop effective solutions
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with experience supervising diverse teams
- Advanced technical knowledge of construction drawings, blueprints, and Building Information Modeling (BIM)
- Proficiency in budget management and cost control
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Problem-solving mindset with a detail-oriented approach to work
- Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Preferred: Experience with ERP systems and advanced project management platforms
- Preferred: Previous experience working on large-scale infrastructure or commercial projects in the Middle East
